Scope
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to all Executive team members as needed. May serve as liaison of Executive Team in their absence and the community at large
Accountabilities
Administrative Support: 50%
- Provide administrative support to all Executive Team members.
- Provide excellent and professional customer service by telephone, email, in person, etc. both internally and externally at all times.
- Assist in maintaining the CEO schedule; including normal business schedule and various bank events associated with the CEO (Holiday events, travel arrangements, conference registrations, customer entertainment events, etc.).
- Understands that all information relating to bank customers and the affairs of the bank are to be held in strict confidence and will take the necessary actions to safeguard the assets of the bank and its customers.
- Upholds the bank’s Mission, Vision and Values to a high degree of professionalism
Meeting Attendance: 15%
- Attend and take minutes for various Bank Committees/Board meetings as assigned.
- Prepare agendas and minutes in a timely manner for distribution
Holding Company: 10%
- Support holding company functions as needed.
Communication: 10%
- Serve as liaison between staff, vendors, customers, and general public in absence of Executive Team members
Program Coordination: 10%
- Coordinate bank uniform and VIP programs
Other: 5%
- Active involvement in key community, banking and civic organizations and activities, as appropriate, to represent the bank in the community.
- As part of the overall team of bank employees, this position may be requested to assist in the support of other bank activities as assigned by the CEO.

Promotes the bank’s image of a supportive corporate citizen within the community. Fiduciary responsibility for safekeeping confidential and sensitive information requires ethics and professionalism beyond reproach.

The capacity to manage one’s work, outline overall project plans, determine necessary steps for its completion and delegation of tasks to the appropriate staff to assure the project is finished accurately, on time and within budget. Must have the ability to set targets, develop action plans, and measure results against the defined target goals. The ability to prioritize tasks to make the best use of time for high priority tasks is vital. Makes prudent decisions; creates policies and procedures; provides managerial direction and leadership at a high level of accountability. Seeks opportunities to develop personal abilities.
Education and Special Requirements
- Two-year degree along with 3-5 years of related experience in a professional office environment.
- This job requires skills needed in a typical office environment. This includes communications skills, computer skills such as, but not limited to Word and Excel as well as utilization of typical office equipment.
